Welcome to Tickenhall Alpacas

Tickenhall Alpacas was established in 2003 and is currently located on a small acreage in the tiny village of Amphitheatre, in central Victoria, between Ballarat and Ararat.  Tickenhall is a family-run business owned by Ann and Trevor Parry. Our daughter, Siân, works with us in the business, primarily by halter-training our animals and then handling our alpacas in the show ring.

We are successful breeders of white and coloured suri.  We fell in love with the stunning suri quite some time after purchasing and breeding our first huacaya alpacas.  Suri is now our passion.

Our property has been designed for ease of management and provides an excellent example of how to manage alpaca on a small acreage. Our pasture is supplemented with good quality meadow/clover hay and our own 'alpaca muesli'.  We have created secure fencing and have ample water. All our alpacas follow a strict health regimen and are in optimum condition. We keep full records of all our animals in order to know them well, but also to enable us to make continued gains in genetic enhancement.

We joined Q-Alpaca as a means of ensuring quality.
